2021 IACBA Bursary Recipients

The Immigration Asylum Citizenship Bar Association are delighted to award the 2021 IACBA Bursary for the Advanced Diploma in Immigration and Asylum law at King’s Inns to Mariana Verdes BL. In this inaugural year, after Covid delays last year, the committee decided to award a second bursary as an exceptional measure, which was won by Olaniyi Oriade BL.  Both recipients demonstrated excellent commitment to this area of law and to IACBA.  The Association wishes them well in their studies. Both are pictured being awarded their bursary by Denise Brett SC, Chair of IACBA.

 The Afghan Justice Appeal

The Immigration, Asylum and Citizenship Bar Association presented a cheque for €2,000 to the Afghan Justice Appeal and The Hon. Ms. Justice Tara Burns accepted the cheque on their behalf.
