Mir Rahimi

Mir Rahimi is a dedicated advocate for peace, justice, and human rights. Born in Afghanistan, he moved to the UK in 2001 as a child refugee and went on to earn a master’s degree in political theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2011.

He has worked with charities, NGOs, and the United Nations across multiple countries to support displaced and vulnerable communities, and has spoken at major global forums, including high-level United Nations conferences.

As the founder of Edu-Change, a UK-based charity, Mir empowers young people from displaced and disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed in education and become leaders of positive change.
