Úna McEvoy
Advisory Counsel, Office of the Attorney General
Úna McEvoy leads a team of Advisory Counsel at the Office of the Attorney General advising on public law matters which include asylum, immigration and citizenship. Úna is a graduate of NUI Galway. She was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2003. Prior to working for the State, Úna was in private practice as a solicitor specialising in criminal law and child protection law. She joined the Office of the Attorney General in 2012, since when she has worked in a variety of areas both within the AGO and as a seconded in-house advisor in the Department of Children. She took up her current role as Advisory Counsel Grade I in 2023.
