The concept of vulnerability will be explored, it’s applicability, and assisting Applicants with vulnerabilities in a broad range of international protection and immigration related matters will be considered and discussed. Céile Varley BL will discuss vulnerable witnesses and gender-based violence, including considerations of domestic violence & human trafficking.
Ciara Smyth, University of Galway will discuss the principle of the best interests of the child and how to interpret it from a rights-based perspective.
